How it works and benefits your company

Core architecture
The Connector manages securities and reference data, creates and exchanges settlement instructions, handles reconciliation, and supports voluntary corporate action elections. It integrates with current and upcoming environments (FI/SE) and leverages the SWIFT platform for messaging.

Key modules include:

  • Settlement module – creation and communication of settlement instructions; support for FOP, status, hold/release, allegements.
  • CSD Accounts – core data, restrictions, positions, and transactions, reconciliation, and reporting to the portfolio system.
  • Corporate Actions – CA calendar, voluntary elections, tax breakdown handling.
  • Reconciliation – positions, cash, and transactions.

Integration & delivery: A dedicated MQ service for all Nordic CSD connections; Digia can also deliver a service bus setup with integrations to your back‑end systems.

Ready for T+1
Our systems already support T+1 settlement for US and Canadian markets with high automation. For Europe, we are introducing rule-based settlement cycle automation and AI-assisted penalty avoidance – including proactive alerts and automated searches for failing instructions.
